Founded in 2005, Ultra Communications is an AS9100-certified company with a rich space heritage in high-speed mixed-signal circuit design for applications requiring radiation hardening (Rad-hard), extended temperature range and high reliability performance. Ultra Communications serves the most advanced avionic, space, maritime and terrestrial applications with precision packaging for high fidelity electrical and optical coupling, and hardware and software platforms for monitoring networks’ health and security.

About Us

Ultra Communications designs, develops and manufactures the most compact rugged high-speed fiber optic components for harsh environments on the planet. The majority of our products are built using UltraComm’s patented planar flip-chip assembly processes resulting in high value products that are SMT reflow solderable and use our patented removable RVCONâ„Ē connector. Our products and capabilities include:
Compact high-speed SMT reflow solderable multi-channel digital transceivers operating at channel rates from 10 Mbps to 25Gbps over multimode fiber,
Compact multi-channel radio-frequency (RF) over fiber transmitters and receivers operating over single mode fiber.
Fiber optic transceivers with embedded OTDR in both industry standard SFP and compact multi-channel embedded module form factors sporting resolution of 1cm with no dead zones.
Hardware and software products for test, analysis, and monitoring of the health and security of fiber optic links and cable plants.
Removable multi-fiber optical cables (RVCON) and Fiber protection products for multi-fiber MT ferrule applications.
