MT SAVER™
The MT SAVER protects the fiber end‐faces of MT‐based connector systems. It’s made of an ultra‐thin polyimide film with an ultra‐thin silicone adhesive which provides a transparent optical path with minimum optical loss and variation. It is precisely designed and manufactured to fit in MT ferrule connectors. It offers protection from fiber scratches and contamination and fills any air‐gaps at the fiber‐to‐fiber interface, with an index matched media, reducing optical losses while providing increased channel-to-channel uniformity.
